Account Specialist, Customer Service

Job Summary

iRhythm Technologies, an innovative cardiology medical device and service company, is working to combine a novel device, analysis method, and business model together to create a new approach to cardiac rhythm monitoring.  iRhythm is looking for an Account Specialist within our Customer Service team with previous customer service experience preferably at a medical device or medical service company.   This exciting role demands commitment to world class service, and experience in a multitasking role is preferred.

Responsibilities

This position requires regular interaction with customers, colleagues and management.  Responsibilities and daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:   

  • Contact new accounts to gather all pertinent information for setup in a timely manner
  • Gain perspective on new accounts and their needs to make sure they receive all appropriate services offered
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Zio® Reports, SalesForce.com (SFDC), and new account enrollment processes
  • Manage time based on in-service dates and other timelines provided
  • Ship initial product to accounts to arrive appropriately
  • Follow up with new accounts during their first thirty days of implementation
  • Communicate with the sales team on status of account setup
  • Manage daily work load through Salesforce.com reports
  • Recognize, document and alert Regional Sales Managers and Clinical Operations Directors of trends in customer setup
  • Recommend process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years Customer Service experience
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must be flexible, adapt quickly and positively to change, and able to handle fast-paced growth environment
  • Effectively manage one's time to ensure that work is completed efficiently
  • Demonstrated provision of great customer service via phone, e-mail or web site modalities
  • Demonstrated commitment to helping people and resolving issues including those that require independent thinking and sound judgment skills not covered specifically in manuals or procedures
  • Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated patience and professionalism in stressful situations 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years prior experience in a service-related industry or the medical field
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Experience in contributing to the development of new medical products or services
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management programs like Salesforce.com
  • Experience in a multitasking role
  • Bilingual skills
