Cardiac Technician
Job Summary
iRhythm Technologies, an innovative cardiology medical device and service company, is working to combine a novel device, analysis method, and business model together to create a new approach to cardiac rhythm monitoring. iRhythm is looking for new and experienced Certified Cardiovascular Technicians to join our growing company. Responsibilities
- Monitor heart rhythm pattern of patient ECG transmissions to detect abnormal pattern variances
- Communicate clearly, professionally and effectively with patients regarding symptoms and activities
- Provide instructions to patients on device use
- Communicate with internal and external customers, including iRhythm’s sales force
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years experience as a Cardiac Technician or in a related field
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), license in a cardiac related field or eligible to be certified within 90 days of hire
- Experience in ECG monitoring or related field (Paramedic, Holter Technician, etc.)
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently and meet all performance and quality standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm and cool
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills and can work effectively over the telephone
- Ability to work various shifts/provide coverage as needed with advance scheduling
- Positive attitude and team player
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree or other higher education
- Strong ability to use critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
