Cardiac/Holter Technician, Zio Patch Service
Job Summary
iRhythm Technologies, an innovative cardiology medical device and service company, is working to combine a novel device, analysis method, and business model together to create a new approach to cardiac rhythm monitoring. iRhythm is looking for new and experienced Certified Cardiographic Technicians with Holter scanning experience to join our growing company. This exciting role needs Cardiac Technicians who demonstrate strong cardiac rhythm recognition skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and great teamwork experience. Responsibilities
Review Zio™ Patch ECG data and related algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and completeness, utilizing iRhythm’s Quality Analysis tools
- Effectively communicate ECG abnormalities by notifying physicians as required according to physician notification protocol
- Perform 100% of the quality assurance behind the final report delivered to the physician, and provide report format modifications and additions as requested
- Complete account and patient enrollment in iRhythm’s clinical reporting website
- Provide feedback regarding any systems or device concerns to the Patch Tech II to mitigate any potential system or device issues or risks
- Maintain compliance with job specific proficiency requirements, including CCT certification
- Communicate with internal and external customers
- May participate in the receipt and processing of the Zio™ Patch device, which includes:
- De-kitting devices and verifying patient information
- Downloading data from devices using iRhythm software
- Entering Patient Symptom Diary information
- Appropriately storing the Zio™ Patch device and Patient Symptom Diary
Required Education and Experience
- Previous Holter scanning experience is highly desired
- Associate degree or two years college course work preferred
- Minimum of at least 3-5 years experience in ECG monitoring or related field, with emphasis in cardiac rhythm interpretation (CCT, Holter Technician, Cardiac Rehab, RN, Nurse, Paramedic w/Critical Care Transport )
- Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to be certified within 90 days of hire
- Intermediate to advanced rhythm interpretation skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology specific to Cardiology
- PC proficiency including working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other MS Office applications
- Positive attitude and team player
- Ability to use critical thinking skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Compensation
