HR Generalist

Job Summary

iRhythm Technologies, an innovative cardiology medical device and service company, is working to combine a novel device, analysis method, and business model together to create a new approach to cardiac rhythm monitoring. iRhythm is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to act as the primary local HR liaison for employees and managers at our office in Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

The HR Generalist will work directly with Human Resources in the San Francisco corporate office to develop and administer policies locally relating to all phases of Human Resources activity.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Drive local recruitment efforts, from sourcing candidates through to selecting employees.
  • Coordinate and run new employee orientation.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and reporting locally are in compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Train on-site managers in subjects such as performance reviews, recruiting process, etc.
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain employee files.
  • Administer performance review program locally to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Complete components of biweekly payroll process for local team.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in Human Resources function; preferably with direct experience in full recruiting process and Generalist role
  • Education level: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business with Human Resources concentration, or equivalent degree and/or business experience
  • Organized, extremely detail-oriented, team player, flexible, strong communications skills, analytical
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.); experience working with applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS software programs a plus.
