Bill Willis
President & CEOBill Willis serves today as the President and Chief Executive Officer of iRhythm Technologies, Inc. Prior to the formation of iRhythm, Bill founded iCardia Healthcare where the first “single-use” device technology was introduced. In 2003 he joined CardioNet Inc. as Executive Vice President overseeing the national field sales, operations, finance, and administrative functions for this cardiovascular device and clinical service company. Prior to this position he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of LifeWatch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Card Guard Scientific, and the nation’s leading provider of cardiac arrhythmia and holter monitoring services in the United States.
Bill has held a number of other executive management roles which include; President of Coram Prescription Services, President and Principal of Alternative Health Services, Inc., Regional Vice President of SafeSkin Corporation and General Manager of AMSCO International. Bill has spent his entire career in the healthcare industry; over 27 years in total, and the last 24 of which have been devoted almost entirely to start-up ventures. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Southern California, and resides with his family in Lake Forest, Illinois. -
Uday Kumar, MD
Founder & CMODr. Uday N. Kumar, a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist by training, is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of iRhythm Technologies, Inc., He has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Lecturer in Bioengineering at Stanford University, where he previously was a Biodesign Cardiovascular Innovation Fellow (’05-’06). As a Fellow there, he focused on identifying and developing solutions to unmet needs in the field of cardiac electrophysiology (EP); one of these ideas formed the basis for iRhythm Technologies, Inc., which he founded in late 2006.
Prior to coming to Stanford, Uday completed fellowships in cardiac EP and cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2005 and 2003, respectively. He previously completed his training in internal medicine in 2001 at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University. From 1998-1999, he helped launch Biomedical Modeling Inc., a company that created models from imaging data using rapid prototyping techniques for use in numerous medical areas. He started work on this project when he was a student at Harvard Medical School, from which he received his M.D. in June 1998. Prior to this, he received his B.A. magna cum laude in Biochemistry from Harvard College in 1994. Uday grew up in Rhode Island and is originally from Bangalore, India. -
Shelly Guyer
Executive VP of Finance and Administration & CFOShelly Guyer joined iRhythm Technologies in April 2008 and is responsible for administrative issues as well as Finance and Accounting. Prior to joining iRhythm, she was Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations, at Nuvelo, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company. Before joining industry, she had more than 17 years of experience in healthcare banking and management at JPMorgan Securities, where she most recently served as Vice President and Principal of Health Care Banking for the West Coast with responsibility for banking a variety of mid- and small-cap life science companies. During the acquisition of Hambrecht & Quist (H&Q) by Chase and the merger with JPMorgan, Shelly served in several internal management capacities for the Investment Banking Division. Prior to that, she was vice president and principal in Investment Banking at H&Q and a Vice President at H&Q Venture Partners. Shelly received an M.B.A. from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. summa cum laude from Princeton University.

Judy Lenane, RN, MHA
Executive VP & COOJudith Lenane is a nurse and medical business executive. In July 2008, she began a new role leading operations as the Executive Vice President for iRhythm Technologies. Judy has been involved with bringing business concepts to life and creating three successful cardiovascular service companies over the past 15 years. Previously, Judy was the Vice President of Business Development for Centura Health, the largest healthcare provider in the state of Colorado. Judy is an elected Trustee for the town of Foxfield and serves on the Board of Directors for Hospital Shared Services, Inc. Judy has a BS in Nursing and Masters in Health Care Administration. In addition, Judy is an endurance triathlete having completed five Ironman distance triathlons and recently competed on Team USA in August 2008 at the World Long Course Triathlon Championship in Holland.

Jon Darsee
Executive VP of Corporate Sales & Business DevelopmentJon Darsee has 25 years experience in healthcare, primarily in the field of ambulatory cardiac monitoring. From 2004-2008, Jon was Managing Partner of Darsee and Associates, LLC, a consulting firm focused on strategic marketing and business development for medical device firms in North America and Europe. In 2003, Jon was Vice President and General Manager of Instromedix, Inc., a pioneering manufacturer of cardiac event monitors and transtelephonic pacemaker transmitters. In 2001, he moved to the Netherlands to become the Managing Director of Card Guard Europe BV and later LifeWatch International BV where he served on the board of directors of several telemedicine start ups in Europe focused on bringing telemedicine products and services to healthcare providers and consumers.
Jon's career began in sales in 1983 with Del Mar Avionics, Inc., the founding company in ambulatory cardiac (Holter) monitoring. In 1985, Jon took a two year sabbatical from healthcare to play professional basketball in Brazil, later returning to a sales management position at Del Mar. In 1991 he worked for Oxford Instruments, Inc and in 1997 was the Vice President of Integrative Medical Arts, Inc., a start up software and internet company that created reference teaching materials designed to educate medical doctors about alternative and complementary medicine. He has published articles on a wide variety of topics. Jon earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. Mr. Darsee resides with his family in Austin, TX. -
Mark Day, PhD
VP of Research & DevelopmentMark leads the research, development and manufacturing efforts behind iRhythm’s innovative devices and software systems. He brought his combined technical and business management background to iRhythm in 2007, after three years with Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Disease Management division, where he led several strategy development projects related to Medtronic’s initiatives to leverage information from implanted medical devices to enhance patient care and competitive differentiation. Prior to joining Medtronic, Mark was a co-founder and CTO of CarePages, Inc (now part of Waterfront Media), a service that launched in 2000 to provide hospital-sponsored blogs for patients experiencing chronic or acute medical care. Mark received an MBA in Marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar and received the Paul Green Award for Knowledge Creation. He also holds Ph.D. in Computation Flow Physics from Stanford University, funded by an international scholarship from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Mark also received an M.S. from Stanford, and a B.Sc. from Queen’s University, both in Mechanical Engineering.
