The ZIO Service includes the FDA-cleared ZIO XT Patch, proprietary algorithms, and the ZIO Report.
The ZIO Service is the only long-term, continuous cardiac monitoring option that is proven in multiple, peer-reviewed publications to produce a higher diagnostic yield and change patient management - sooner in the diagnostic pathway - compared to traditional approaches.
The physician typically prescribes the ZIO XT Patch for a 7 to 14-day period. Once the prescribed monitoring period is complete, the patient sends the ZIO XT Patch to the iRhythm Clinical Centers (iCC), where the data is processed and analyzed. The data is then reviewed by a Certified Cardiographic Technician, specialized in advanced arrhythmia detection, to help ensure high accuracy and quality of the report. The physician is notified as soon as the report is ready for review and final interpretation.
