At a public urban hospital, only 20% of patients screened by a Holter monitor received a definitive diagnosis. After switching to Zio, this same hospital found arrhythmias in 73% of patients.

73.4% of patients received a definitive diagnosis vs. 20% with Holter monitoring

OPERATIONAL

Time to diagnosis:
Minutes to diagnosis of arrhythmia were reduced from 645 with Holter monitoring to 43 with Zio monitoring

FINANCIAL

Process time and cost were reduced:
Realized a time savings of 97 minutes and a $17.35 margin improvement per monitor
